Most firms looking for an SEO agency UAE businesses can rely on are not short of choice. They are short of evidence. Results pages in the Emirates mix English and Arabic listings, map packs crowd out anything with a place name in it, and almost every provider claims the top spot. This page explains how we approach search engine optimisation for UAE companies, what we will and will not promise, and how the work runs when your SEO team sits in another country.

Arb Digital delivers SEO services in the UAE remotely from Pakistan. Nobody on our team works from an office in the Emirates, and we would rather say that up front than leave you guessing. Pakistan is one hour ahead of UAE time, so we cover 8am to 5pm UAE time across the same Monday-to-Friday working week, and a question sent in the morning is normally answered that day.

SEO agency UAE work: what the Emirates change

Search engine optimisation follows the same principles everywhere, but three things about the Emirates change the order in which we do the work.

  • Two languages on one results page. Many commercial queries return English and Arabic pages side by side, and the language a buyer types in decides which rivals you face. We split your target terms into English, Arabic and mixed groups using your own Search Console data and live result checks, then plan pages for each group.
  • Emirate-level intent. The same service search made in Abu Dhabi and in Dubai often returns different map listings and different organic winners. Targeting "the UAE" as one market usually wastes effort.
  • Crowded, low-trust results. Listicles and parasite pages on unrelated domains fill many SERPs. Clear proof on your own site, such as real case details, named people and verifiable credentials, does more than another round of generic copy.

If your Arabic pages need new text, it must come from a native writer that you or a partner supply. We brief that writer, structure the page and optimise it, since Arabic writing is not a service we offer.

Google Maps and local results across the emirates

For anyone selling to people in a specific emirate, the map pack often matters more than the blue links beneath it. Our local SEO work for UAE clients starts with your Google Business Profile: the correct primary category, a service area that matches where you actually trade, consistent business details across directories, and photos that show real premises or real work.

Free-zone companies need extra care. A licence address in a free zone is not always where customers are served, and Google expects the listing to reflect how the business genuinely operates. We check that before suggesting any change, because a suspended profile costs far more than a slow start.

Genuine customer feedback on your profile is one of the few signals you directly control. We set up a simple, policy-compliant routine for asking satisfied customers to leave it, and we never buy, filter or script that feedback.

Technical and content groundwork we check first

Before writing anything new, we audit what Google can already see. For UAE sites the common faults are predictable:

  • English and Arabic versions without correct hreflang tags, so the wrong language ranks. Our free hreflang tag generator shows the pattern we use.
  • Slow mobile pages on heavy themes, measured against Core Web Vitals rather than desktop speed scores.
  • Near-identical landing pages for each emirate that read as doorway pages and dilute each other.
  • Missing structured data for services, FAQs and organisation details.

Fixes are ranked by likely impact and effort, and the heavier items fall under our technical SEO work. Content follows only once pages can be crawled, indexed and loaded quickly on a phone.

Tracking, consent and the UAE data protection law

SEO reporting depends on analytics, and analytics depends on personal data. Personal data in the Emirates is governed by a federal law (Decree-Law 45/2021), which took effect on 2 January 2022, and the DIFC has its own Data Protection Law No. 5 of 2020 for firms in that centre. The UAE data protection laws page lists both.

In practice we set up Google Analytics 4 with consent settings your legal adviser has approved, keep form data to what the enquiry needs, and document what each tag collects. Our GA4 guide explains the reporting side. If your SEO leads feed SMS or call campaigns, check the current rules with TDRA first. Treat this as practical guidance; for legal interpretation, ask a qualified adviser.

How the work runs with a remote team in Pakistan

Every engagement follows the same sequence:

  1. Free audit. We review your site, profile and current rankings, then send written findings. There is no obligation and no call is required.
  2. A 90-day plan. Priorities, owners and expected milestones, agreed with you in writing.
  3. Monthly delivery and reporting. Work completed, rankings and traffic from Search Console and GA4, and what comes next, explained without jargon.

There is no long contract: give us 30 days' notice whenever you wish to stop. We invoice monthly and accept bank transfer only. Communication happens by email and video call within UAE working hours. What we cannot offer is in-person presence, so if you need photography or an on-site visit we suggest a local production partner alongside us. Package scope is set out on our SEO services page.

Which UAE businesses we suit, and which we do not

We suit small and mid-sized companies, online stores and B2B firms that want steady organic growth and are happy to work with a team they meet on video. Founders still setting up can find support through bodies such as Dubai Chambers and the Khalifa Fund, and SEO is usually most useful once the offer and website are settled.

We are not the right fit if you need rankings within weeks, guaranteed positions, or an agency that produces Arabic content in house. For the wider channel picture across the Emirates, see our UAE marketing guide, or the city pages for Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

FAQ

UAE digital marketing FAQs

Do you guarantee first-page rankings in the UAE?
No. Nobody controls Google's results, and any agency promising fixed positions is guessing or using tactics that put your site at risk. We commit to the work: an agreed plan, monthly delivery and honest reporting from your own Search Console and GA4 data, so you can judge progress on evidence rather than claims.
How long does SEO take to show results for a UAE business?
Technical fixes and profile improvements can move map visibility within weeks, but organic rankings for competitive UAE terms usually take four to six months, and longer for new domains. Our article on how long SEO takes explains the factors. We report monthly so you can see movement before rankings fully settle.
Can you optimise our Arabic pages?
Yes, on the technical and structural side: hreflang, page structure, internal links, metadata guidance and search-term mapping. The Arabic text itself must come from a native writer that you or a partner provide. We brief that writer and track how the page performs; Arabic writing itself sits outside our services.
Do we need a separate page for each emirate?
Only where you genuinely serve that emirate and have something specific to say about it, such as local projects or service details. Copying one page seven times with the place name swapped tends to hurt rankings. We usually start with one strong page and add emirate pages when the evidence supports them.
How does the free SEO audit work?
Send your website address through our contact form. We review crawlability, page speed, indexing, your Google Business Profile and current rankings, then reply with written findings and priorities. There is no obligation, and you are free to use the findings with any provider or your own team.
