Multan has more agency choice than most South Punjab cities. A digital marketing agency Multan search brings up young full-service studios that also build apps, social media specialists, LinkedIn pages for software houses and directory lists of a dozen names. Many were founded in the last five years, and most describe themselves in similar words.
Rather than add another claim to that pile, this guide gives you a decision process: the questions to put to any digital marketing company or SEO company in Multan, the evidence to ask for, and how the city's mango, cotton, textile and retail economy should steer the answer. We serve Multan remotely from our team in Pakistan, and we deal with the "why not someone local?" objection plainly.
The market an agency should be able to describe
Test any agency by asking them to describe your market. They should know that the city itself holds about 2.22 million people and the wider district 5,362,305 (PBS Census 2023), with an urban share of 46.62% and an average household of six people (PBS Table 1). They should also know that Multan works as the commercial centre for a wide surrounding region, so buyers often come from Khanewal, Lodhran, Muzaffargarh and Vehari as well.
Multan's economy blends agriculture (mangoes and cotton above all), textile and flour mills, fertiliser and sugar, and a long tradition of crafts: blue pottery, Multani khussa, embroidery and camel-skin lamps. Retail around Hussain Agahi, Gulgasht and the newer housing schemes is busy, and private hospitals, schools and universities draw students and patients from across the south.

Five questions for any digital marketing agency Multan shortlists
- Which channel would you start with for my business, and why? A mango exporter, a khussa brand and a clinic in Gulgasht need different answers. Expect reasoning, not a package name.
- Who does the work? Many studios split time between app development and marketing. Ask who writes your ads and who handles SEO.
- How will you count enquiries? Calls, WhatsApp clicks and form leads should each be tracked to a source.
- What is in the first 90 days? A good plan names specific fixes and tests, not just "brand awareness".
- How do I leave? Notice period, ownership of ad accounts and who keeps the website logins.
If the answers are vague, keep looking.
How the answer changes by sector
- Mango and agri exporters. Buyers abroad search in English and check credibility. An English site with clear product specifications, packing and certification details, plus SEO for export terms and LinkedIn outreach, matters more than local Facebook posts.
- Craft and fashion brands. Instagram, Facebook and marketplaces such as Daraz suit khussa, pottery and embroidered clothing. Product photography and Meta advertising do most of the lifting, with a small online store for repeat buyers.
- Hospitals, clinics and schools. People search in mixed Urdu and English for a speciality plus area. Local SEO, a fully completed Google Business Profile and careful Google Ads are usually the core.
- Textile and industrial suppliers. B2B buyers want catalogues, capacities and contact details that load quickly. A clean website often comes before any advertising.
Red flags to verify before you pay
Ask to see live campaigns or sites the agency has worked on, then check them on your own phone. Verify the company itself on the SECP LEAP portal if they say they are registered. Be cautious of guaranteed rankings, "top position in seven days" promises, and bulk SMS bundles.
That last point matters legally. Under PECA 2016, as later amended in 2025 (text on Pakistan Code), section 25 treats messages sent to people who never gave consent as spamming and requires an opt-out in every direct marketing message, while section 16 makes the unauthorised use or sale of people's identity information an offence, which covers bought phone and CNIC lists. Section 26A, added in 2025, deals with deliberately false information that may cause panic. This is general information rather than legal advice.
The objection: "I would rather have someone in Multan"
Understandable, and for some businesses correct. We do not have an office in Multan; our company is registered in Larkana and our people work remotely. The case for us rests on timing and focus. Since we follow Pakistan Standard Time and work from nine in the morning until six in the evening on weekdays, you reach us during your own business hours, and approvals or urgent ad fixes are handled the same day. We can talk in Urdu by phone, WhatsApp call or screen share.
There is also less to lose by trying. Work continues on a monthly basis and either side can stop with 30 days' notice; you pay by bank transfer. If you need a person at your factory or shop every week, a Multan firm is the better fit, and we would tell you that.
Who else to talk to, and nearby guides
The Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry connects traders and exporters, and the Punjab Information Technology Board runs provincial technology schemes. If you sell across the south, compare our Bahawalpur and Sahiwal guides, or start from the Pakistan hub. A free audit is one message away on our contact page.
